I look like a perfectly ‘normal’ individual, I mention that I don’t stand out in a crowd because It’s pertinent to the subject at hand. With that being said for most of my life my friends have often commented on my “strangeness”. The best way I’ve heard it put to me was “You are the weirdest guy I’ve ever known. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, I’m just saying that you’re the strangest person I know”. At the time I smiled knowingly and just answered that I understood. I had lived it long enough to know it was simply part of who I am. Continue reading
Seoulwise guesthouse (hostel), Seoul South Korea
Another hostel review from my time spent in Seoul. The Seoulwise hostel was probably one of the nicest I’ve had the pleasure of staying with. When I first met the owner and reserved a bed in a 4 bed dormitory he explained that he had only been opened a few months. Continue reading
“Stuff no-one told me!”

RAP NEWS 6 – Wikileaks’ Cablegate: the truth is out there
I stumbled upon this video while reading a blog on Afghanistan. It’s a very interesting rap with a lot of food for thought. The video is a few months old now but it’s still very much relevant considering it has the appearance of “characters” playing Hilary Clinton, Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi and Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi. If you find the wikileaks saga interesting it’s worth listening once or twice.
“History books will be written about events this month, the story they will tell is up to us” – Juice Media Rap News, with Robert Foster.
Particularly interesting considering that both the “internet” and “wikileaks” have been nominated for the Nobel peace prize.
Korean motorcycles and scooters.
I’ve never been much of a motorcycle enthusiast. Like every little kid growing up in a small town I longed to own a “dirt bike” as we call them. Beyond that my interest in them has been negligible.
One of the many things that caught my attention in South Korea was the interesting and diverse collection of motorcycles and scooters to be found. Below I’ve included some of the ones I was able to capture and thought were nice. You may have already seen Korea’s best motorcycle but you’ll want to read on none the less. This post is for all my friends who own bikes; hope you like it! Continue reading
